WHITEWATER
is a reality/docudrama television series that takes place on a 165 mile stretch of the Kern River. One of the deadliest rivers in the world, it has earned the nickname, "The Killer Kern." This river puts the wild, back into the west!
Whitewater Voyages is 1 of 6 rafting outfitters competing for customers on this river. Customers are constantly booking trips, whether planned or last minute walk ins, so there are always multiple trips going out each day. Trips last anywhere from a family friendly one hour, to the most extreme one week journey deep into the heart of the river where anything can happen, and when it does, dealing with it becomes a real case of life and death.
Characters and Drama are everywhere, aside from the testosterone filled river guides, and regular customers that visit the company looking for rafting trips; SWAT Teams, Girl & Boy Scouts, Bachelor Parties, Bikini Teams, Disable Veteran Groups, Actors and Athletes, or just the All American Family, we will be able to shape episodes with placed customers we have casted to spark drama if ever needed.

Unlike most shows that tease their audience with death, this show will confront it. No matter what anyone does or says, people will die or be rescued from the Kern River. Our team of cameras will capture more than one rescue and recovery, giving us the unique opportunity to conclude each season with an, “End of the River” episode where we will sit down with the cast and crew to discuss and show each river rescue and recovery.
The environment is ruthless, from wild animals and wildfires, to wild personalities. Tempers will flare, someone will quit or be fired. New employees will drift on in. Guides will fight over rafting trips, all in the name of making money. Equipment and vehicles will break down, causing the business to be in jeopardy. All this and much more on “WHITEWATER.”
